JULIE MATUZAK REPRESENTING CLINTON TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

In November 2022, I ran and was elected as a Trustee on the Clinton Township Board in a special election to fill a vacancy. I have been honored to serve my neighbors for the past two years, and now I am running for a regular four-year term.  I hope I can count on your support. 

During my time on the Clinton Twp Board we:

• Rewrote the Township purchasing policy to make sure we have an open bidding process and regular contract reviews
• Post the names of business that receive township funds so the public can see where the money goes
• Made voting more convenient by establishing 3 early in-person voting locations in the South, Central and North parts of the Township
• Expanded recreation opportunities in the Township for people of all physical and mental abilities by establishing a universal kayak launch at George George Park, building an Inclusive Playground at the Civic Center, putting in a second adaptive base-ball field, and expanding some of our walking trails
• Starting July 1st, 2024 we are partnering with a new transportation group to provide expanded transportation services for our senior citizens.

I look forward to continuing to make Clinton Township a great place to live and work, and to make sure all areas of the township have access to our services and programming, maintain and expand transparency in decision making, and increase our work bringing new development to the Gratiot and Groesbeck corridors.
